LA ROSE captures the fleeting moment of a rose in full bloom—not as a literal representation of nature, but as a sculptural interpretation of its elegance, strength, and transience.
 
Two flames that do more than illuminate—they tell a story.
 
Hand-modelled in wax and cast in bronze using the traditional lost wax technique, every curve, every leaf, and every gentle twist of the stem bears the unmistakable imprint of the artist's hand.
 
With every burning candle, the bronze comes alive. Light, shadow, and reflections continuously transform the sculpture, revealing new moods and quiet moments of beauty.
 
The two sculptures shown here, 64 cm and 47 cm in height, exist in a quiet dialogue. Related, yet entirely individual. Each possesses its own movement, its own expression, and its own presence.

THE MAKING OF ORGANICA — From Wax to Bronze
The ORGANICA collection by Cornelia Henze is inspired by the organic forms of nature and is created in bronze using the traditional lost wax casting process.Each object begins as a wax model, sculpted and refined entirely by hand by Cornelia Henze. A new model is created for every piece — no mould is ever reused.At a long-established Munich art foundry, the wax model is encased in a refractory mould and melted away. Molten bronze is then poured into the cavity. Once the metal has cooled, the mould is carefully broken away, revealing the raw casting.The bronze is subsequently sandblasted, polished and finished by hand by Cornelia Henze. Every surface develops its own texture, character and unmistakable artistic signature.The result is a one-of-a-kind sculpture, shaped by the vitality of the material and the visible trace of the artist's hand.
