This hand-sculpted bronze candlestick captures the spirit of dance in a suspended moment. Its organic, expressive form rises like a dancer in mid-performance — powerful yet remarkably light. Two vibrant candles rest within the sculpture like twin flames of passion and devotion.
 

 
Cast using the traditional lost wax technique, every line and every surface preserves the immediate imprint of the artist's hand. No reproduction. No edition. A single work — unique in its existence.

THE MAKING OF ORGANICA — From Wax to Bronze
 
The ORGANICA collection by Cornelia Henze is inspired by the organic forms of nature and is created in bronze using the traditional lost wax casting process.
 

 
Each object begins as a wax model, sculpted and refined entirely by hand by Cornelia Henze. A new model is created for every piece — no mould is ever reused.
 

 
At a long-established Munich art foundry, the wax model is encased in a refractory mould and melted away. Molten bronze is then poured into the cavity. Once the metal has cooled, the mould is carefully broken away, revealing the raw casting.
 
The bronze is subsequently sandblasted, polished and finished by hand by Cornelia Henze. Every surface develops its own texture, character and unmistakable artistic signature.
 

 
The result is a one-of-a-kind sculpture, shaped by the vitality of the material and the visible trace of the artist's hand.
