CASSANDRA unfolds like frozen movement. Its flowing folds recall fabric, petals, or a landscape shaped by the wind—soft in appearance, yet grounded in the quiet strength of bronze.
 
At its centre rests a single flame.

As the candle burns, light and shadow transform the sculpture. Reflections shift across the bronze, giving the impression that the form itself is gently moving.
 
Hand-modelled and cast in bronze using the traditional lost wax technique, every fold preserves the artist's gesture. Every surface bears the visible trace of touch, craftsmanship, and material.

THE MAKING OF ORGANICA — From Wax to Bronze
The ORGANICA collection by Cornelia Henze is inspired by the organic forms of nature and is created in bronze using the traditional lost wax casting process.Each object begins as a wax model, sculpted and refined entirely by hand by Cornelia Henze. A new model is created for every piece — no mould is ever reused.At a long-established Munich art foundry, the wax model is encased in a refractory mould and melted away. Molten bronze is then poured into the cavity. Once the metal has cooled, the mould is carefully broken away, revealing the raw casting.The bronze is subsequently sandblasted, polished and finished by hand by Cornelia Henze. Every surface develops its own texture, character and unmistakable artistic signature.The result is a one-of-a-kind sculpture, shaped by the vitality of the material and the visible trace of the artist's hand.
